And This

This one is 200 stitches per inch ,done in 2 strand silk.

I copied this one from a card.
And while I'm being a total wanker, I'll mention that I also made the frame on the other one.

Lovely, incredibly deft those fingers of yours.......and I love the word wanker (though it doesn't apply here), just such a perfect word isn't it, I use it far, far too often :)

i think it's very lovely. i have so much respect for those that can weld a needle in a creative manner. i'm challenged in just trying to sew a button on.

Jo, I also use that word a lot, I tapestried my son a bookmark, on one side it sadi "awsome, on the other wanker..he loved it.

Narnie, this is one of my favourites.

Thanks Mel, but I,ve seen your quilts also, that takes a long time.

LP, thanks very much,I have a lot of respect for people who can put a blog together in a creative manner.... I can also weld a 12 foot bull whip, my dad and I used to do shows where he would whip it out of my hand....one day he missed, but thats a blog for another time.

ahhhh, aren't you such a talented lady! I can't even stiych a button on a jacket!

Quite talented indeed. Do you do it for fun (because it is your art, passion, means of relaxing etc) or have you considered allowing people to place orders etc?

I have always heard that if you can make money doing what you love... you are set.

Enigma said...

TE I do it for all the reasons you mentioned...I cant really make a lot of money out of it, as each piece takes forever.I did make a fair bit of money out of my lingerie, .What I made the most money out of ,however, was as a corporate pychic, I was once paid $500.00 per hour..those were the good old days.

What a crafty individual you are E... both this piece and the one previously are bloody excellent! Lingerie would have been quite a challenge I imagine - you can have remarkably simple bit's of kit, and some pieces that are really quite complicated... but then again - *ahem* how would I know? *embarrassed coff* Hahaha! ;-)

You've tried your hand a quite a few things then mate... so how'd you end up in the world of SFX?

Of course you wouldnt know what strippers wear Belli, LOL, being in the forces and all haha.I will post some photos of my stripper stuff soon.
I have been involved peripherally in SFX for a long time , prior to that , I was known as a rather famous phychic.

My partner is one of the originators of the Aussie sfx industry,(he calls himself a dinasour) and due to some difficult situations he has been going through for the last 2 years, I have had to take over the running of the bussiness. So all my other stuff has been put on the back burner.
Glad you seem to be better :)
