The active principle, cool, looking the other way of course, one implies the other, being human need will take over and boredom dissolves, hence desire, ginga rhythm, cool bananas,

is it not one of the seven truths that all suffering is caused by desire as all desire is the want for things to be other than what they are now?
or something like that...

gingatao- now that i am embracing my humanness, insted of denying desire, I have come to like it.

Narnie, we are the same, I am rarely bored, great quote...I think desire can often be, the "not this, but that" thing.

Indy...Yep:)

Ozzy, thats what I meant by my other comment...but i dont know if I want to live a life of no desire, as long as it doesnt rule me, longing is a lovely thing.

TE, yep, and yep.

Mel, I could use some Moon sand.

Indeed, without light there is no darkness, without darkness there is no light. Without suffering what would be of joy...
besides, all the best artists suffer.

Ozzy, but is it true we have to suffer to create great art?
I know that i have created my greatest art, often when i am 'flowing".
But i agree with your other statements, the problem with some forms of spirituality, is it can create a sort of blandness.

Hi TE, yes I am hoping to go there sometime this year, I have a lot of friends, and clients over there, so I'll be going to Dallas, Florida, and San Siego, and Washington...I'm also hoping to meet fellow bloggers who are interested.

Washington state or DC? If you are in the area, it would be fun to meet (I am in DC) My mom is going to Perth next summer to see family. I am considering dragging the Diva on an Australian adventure. I just love it there.

Plus, I would love to meet some of y'all!
